Job summary

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust (RBFT) invites applications for a Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in Head and Neck Cancers. The post is based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and involves input to inpatients and outpatients across two clinical areas, within a 22-strong SLT team.

You will contribute to training and MDT clinics as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary service. Reading offers strong transport links and a vibrant community.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to H&N caseload with assessment, therapy and management plans across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Attend H&N and radiotherapy MDT clinics as part of the SLT team.
• Provide supervision and support to other team members where appropriate.
• Contribute to training for MDT members in relevant areas.
