Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration or eligibility.
• Experience as Band 7 SLT and NHS SLT settings.
• Proficiency in dysphagia assessment and management.
• Ability to manage a specialist caseload independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with Head and Neck conditions.
• Deliver specialist Speech and Language Therapy interventions.
• Assess communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and review patient treatment plans.
• Provide specialist advice to patients, carers, and healthcare colleagues.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
• Support high-quality, patient-centred care.
