Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (Band 7) to work 37.5 hours per week, with part-time consideration. Based at Northampton General Hospital, the role focuses on Head and Neck Cancer, complex airway management and laryngectomy care, including voice restoration where appropriate.

Applicants should be HCPC registered SLTs with Head & Neck experience; opportunities for supervision and involvement in national trials are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in Head and Neck cancer care.
• Complex dysphagia competencies.
• MDT working experience.
• Experience with laryngectomy patients.

Responsibilities

• Based within the Head and Neck MDT at Northampton General Hospital.
• Support patients through the Head and Neck Cancer pathway.
• Possibility to participate in National Pathos Control trials.
• Professional support and regular clinical supervision available.
