Job summary

Bemerton Lodge in Salisbury is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead a team and uphold immaculate cleanliness across resident spaces. You will supervise housekeepers and laundry assistants, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment with strict hygiene practices.

The role requires experience in contract cleaning, comfort with elderly care, and strong communication. A QCF Level 3 in Hospitality is advantageous, with opportunities for development within a supportive not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team and coordinating rotas is desirable.
• Comfortable working in an elderly care setting with residents.
• Familiarity with Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH and infection control is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of housekeepers and laundry staff to deliver high standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control across living spaces.
