Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Head Housekeeper for Primrose Place in Coalville. You will lead the new Housekeeping Team in our state-of-the-art home, ensuring the highest cleanliness standards and a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You will manage daily and weekly cleaning routines, uphold hygiene, and guide your team with a strong emphasis on dignity and independence. Induction and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading daily/weekly cleaning routines.
• Ability to set and maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Supervisory experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Housekeeping Team to run cleaning schedules (dusting, mopping, polishing, vacuuming).
• Oversee cleaning of all areas including residents' rooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms and offices.
• Promote dignity, independence and a resident-centred approach while ensuring a welcoming environment.

Contract type: Full Time 40 hours per week

Rate: Up to £13.27 per hour

Do you take pride in your cleaning standards and attention to detail? As Head Housekeeper, you’ll ensure that our home is clean and welcoming home for the people who live and work here.

You’ll be responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring a comfortable environment for the people we support.

You will lead the brand new Housekeeping Team in our new state of the art purpose built home. You’ll have the chance to really make your mark.

About The Role

Our Head Housekeeper plays a key role in leading all daily and weekly cleaning routines of their Housekeeping Team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• carrying out cleaning schedules with your team, including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming
• overseeing your team’s cleaning of all areas, including residents’ rooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, kitchens and offices
• building trust and promoting choice, dignity and independence.
