Kingsley Healthcare Group is seeking a Head Housekeeper to plan and supervise all domestic, laundry and housekeeping duties across the home. You will ensure the site is cleaned to the highest standards and compliant with Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.

Reporting to the Home Manager/Regional Hospitality and Lifestyle Manager, you will lead a team, maintain infection control practices, and coordinate with staff to deliver a safe, comfortable environment for residents and colleagues.

Formación

• Proven housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and PPE.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina for cleaning tasks.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements.

About the role

As a Head Housekeeper, you will be planning and supervising all domestic, laundry and housekeeping duties required in looking after our residents and staff on a daily basis. It will be your role to ensure that our home is cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, and that our domestic, laundry, and housekeeping complies with the latest Health & Safety and COSHH standards.

Home Manager/Regional Hospitality and Lifestyle Manager

Skills and attributes

• Proven experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of staff members.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and practices, including proper cleaning techniques and use of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements
