As a Head Housekeeper, you will ensure that you and the housekeeping team maintain an absolutely spotless home for our residents. Responsibilities include managing the cleaning rota, leading by example, planning the week’s laundry, ordering cleaning supplies, and staying updated on infection control procedures—all with the residents’ wellbeing as the priority.
We are looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper with proven team leadership, record keeping, and time management skills. You should have a strong awareness of Health & Safety, COSHH regulations, and infection control. Your positive energy and ability to get along with people are essential. Communication with residents and colleagues should always be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should also be capable of seeking advice and reporting concerns appropriately.
