Job description

Job Title: Train Cleaner

The role involves interior cleaning, hoovering floors, inspecting and maintaining toilets, and leading by example for other cleaners.

You will work at the carriage sidings connected to the station, performing full and deep cleans inside and outside of public view.

Working Hours:

Flexible shift pattern: 20:00 – 06:00, rotating on a 4 on 5 off, 5 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off schedule.

Requirements:

• Pass a Drugs & Alcohol test.
• Pass a full rail medical, including assessments of sight, hearing, color vision, heart, lungs, and brain.
• Attend training at Heaton Depot, Newcastle on 12/05 & 13/05.
• Provide Right to Work documents before deployment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist.
• Good physical fitness, as the role is physically demanding and requires standing most of the shift.
