The Role:

• Oversee the housekeeping department to deliver excellent guest care and team member experience
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Accommodation Manager
• Be the department’s face, communicating with the Front Desk
• Inspect guestrooms daily to ensure standards
• Check furnishings and equipment are clean and in good repair, paying attention to details
• Assign duties to room attendants daily, weekly, and monthly
• Monitor the computer system (ONQ) for room status updates
• Support team delegations of duties, rooms, and rotas
• Be fully familiar with all Housekeeping procedures
• Report rooms not requiring service and any maintenance defects
• Work collaboratively with other Housekeeping Supervisors
• Handle, follow up, and communicate comments or complaints
