As a Head Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include ensuring the housekeeping team maintains a spotless home for our residents. You’ll manage the cleaning rota, lead by example, plan the laundry schedule, order cleaning supplies, and stay informed about infection control procedures, always prioritizing residents’ wellbeing.
We are looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper with proven team leadership, record keeping, and time management skills. You should have a strong awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, as well as infection control. Your positive energy and ability to get along with people are essential. Communication with residents and colleagues should be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
