Job summary

JW Lees is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the hotel housekeeping team. The role offers competitive pay with cash tips and tronc, a profit share bonus, and opportunities for development through internal and external programmes.

The Head Housekeeper will manage housekeeping, public spaces and linen, ensure cleanliness to company standards, and liaise with reception and maintenance. The position provides growth potential within a family-owned business with a long heritage.

Responsibilities

• Manages the operation of the housekeeping, public space and linen.
• To ensure all Public Areas and Bedrooms are cleaned and presented in line with the required company standards.
• Ensures both internal and external areas are spotless and consistent as per company standards.
• Liaise and effectively communicate with Reception Team and Maintenance Team.
• Develops and implements procedures and standards which supports the achievement of service and financial goals.
• Determines appropriate staffing levels for forecasted business and schedules Team Members accordingly.
• Develops and implements customer service and safety training for Team Members on an ongoing basis.
