Job summary

Campsie View Care Home in Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire, is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the daily housekeeping operation and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for residents and staff.

You will manage a team, oversee stock and infection prevention procedures, and work closely with management to maintain a welcoming environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and resident wellbeing are met.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience within healthcare, hospitality or similar environments is essential.
• Experience supervising or supporting a housekeeping team is beneficial.
• Good understanding of cleaning standards, infection prevention and health and safety procedures.
• Strong organisational skills with confidence managing daily housekeeping operations.
• Reliable, professional and proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Genuine understanding of how environment and presentation directly impact resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily housekeeping operation and guide the housekeeping team.
• Ensure bedrooms, communal areas and shared spaces are organised, hygienic and well presented.
• Help oversee stock management and infection prevention procedures.

Job description

Campsie View Care Home, located in Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire, provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite Care in a warm and welcoming environment. • £13.71 per hour
• 35 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
