Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a Head Housekeeper to uphold the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards across the home. You will lead and develop the housekeeping team, delegate tasks, and ensure a safe, tidy, and caring environment for residents.

You will perform infection control duties, monitor COSHH compliance, and work collaboratively with care teams to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The Role

As a Head Housekeeper, you will ensure the home is kept clean and safe at all times while meeting hygiene and cleanliness standards, supervise and manage team members, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are dusting a resident’s room and reminiscing with them about their previous job, cleaning a bathroom, carrying out a direct observation on a member of staff, or completing an infection control audit, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
