Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a Head Housekeeper at Ramsgate Care Centre in Ramsgate. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and includes alternate weekend working. You will lead the housekeeping team to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, with strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, and a good understanding of health and safety and COSHH procedures within a care setting.

Head Housekeeper
Full-time - 40 hours per week (inlcudes alternate weekend working)
Location:Ramsgate Care Centre, Ramsgate, CT11 7NP

The Role

As a Head Housekeeper, you will ensure the home is kept clean and safe at all times while meeting hygiene and cleanliness standards, supervise and manage team members, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are dusting a resident’s room and reminiscing with them about their previous job, cleaning a bathroom, carrying out a direct observation on a member of staff, or completing an infection control audit, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
