Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Management (UK) Limited is seeking a proactive Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team across our UK hotels. You will drive strategic initiatives, ensure clean, well-presented environments, and act as the ambassador for the Leonardo Hotels brand within the property.

In this role you will develop and implement training and succession plans, meet health and safety standards, and collaborate with other departments to achieve hotel objectives.

• KPIs are met and team supported to achieve them.
• Collaborate with hotel teams to meet strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Housekeeping department and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Lead and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Develop training and succession plans to ensure ongoing performance and career progression.
• Act as ambassador for the hotel and Leonardo Hotels group, upholding brand standards.

The Head Housekeeper will direct the strategic initiatives and objectives of the Housekeeping department, as well as managing day to day operations through the engagement of the team. All members of the department work together to create memorable moments for guests, in line with both company and hotel-specific service standards, and collaborate closely with other departments within the hotel. You will act as an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness. As a Head Housekeeper, you’ll keep your department running like clockwork and lead your team to ensure our guests have an incredible experience with us. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! You’ll think creatively to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-presented, and continually think of new ways to improve the Leonardo Hotels product. You will inspire a vibrant team to exceed our guests’ expectations and create memorable moments.

• Ensure that the Housekeeping department meets all Health & Safety requirements
• Ensure that KPIs are met and support your team to achieve these
• Collaborate with the wider hotel team to meet the hotel’s strategic objectives
