Senior Sous Chef | Glasgow Central Area | Full Time

The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be a leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What you will do:

  • Create a positive environment where your team feels cared for and valued, fostering a coaching culture.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, focusing on recruitment and ongoing development, and promote personal and professional growth.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions when needed.

What we look for:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and health standards.
  • Understanding of financial performance, including gross profit and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and respond to changing demands.
  • Inspirational leadership qualities to motivate and develop your team.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
