Job description

To own and lead the fitness product, positively impacting members and mentoring the team to deliver the best fitness experience.

This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for delivering an elevated fitness experience through our products such as MOVE, REDEFINE, Personal and Group Training.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness
  • Demonstrate our elevated ways of working always
  • Lead national focuses & incentives like #WorkoutWednesday & in-gym challenges/events
  • Advocate for our member onboarding program, MOVE. Deliver and lead by example, supporting and training the wider team to improve confidence and delivery
  • Own the REDEFINE product, driving cohort sales and high engagement levels
  • Recruit, train & mentor Fitness Coaches & Personal Trainers
  • Own group training timetables & monitor performance as per KPIs
  • Grow and optimise member engagement within your community
  • Deliver own on-shift classes as per gym guidelines
  • Drive new member sales and retain existing members to grow live member movement
  • Support the wider team by driving revenue from membership sales, products, and secondary services to enhance profitability
  • Lead by example on reception and the gym floor to enhance every visit
  • Provide honest, constructive feedback regularly to support team development
  • Drive personal training session sales and deliver sessions monthly

Minimum Requirements

  • Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
  • Knowledge of running personal training sessions
  • Strong leadership qualities and a passion for coaching others
  • Experience in delivering various group training modalities
  • Up-to-date with relevant fitness industry trends
  • Adaptability in communication and management styles
  • Positive, solutions-driven mindset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a member champion mentality
  • Driven and ambitious with a desire to learn and develop
  • Flexibility in working hours and location, including weekends and bank holidays
