Romford Town Swimming Club recherche un Head Coach énergique pour diriger son équipe d'entraîneurs. Le candidat idéal devra posséder des qualifications de coaching de haut niveau et démontrer des qualités de leadership, de communication, ainsi qu'une passion pour le développement des athlètes. Ce rôle permanent offre la possibilité de travailler avec des nageurs à tous les niveaux, tout en contribuant à l'innovation dans le programme de coaching de la piscine.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 ans d'expérience en coaching.
• Capacité à travailler et motiver une équipe.
• Connaissance approfondie des programmes de développement à long terme en aquatique.

Responsibilities

• Diriger l'équipe de coaching et enseigner la natation.
• Participer aux championnats à différents niveaux.
• Développer et mettre en œuvre des initiatives de coaching novatrices.

Romford Town Swimming Club in Essex, an ambitious club with a long, successful history, is looking to appoint an energetic and inspiring Head Coach to lead our coaching team, Learn to Swim (LTS) teachers and the club.

The successful candidate will need to have the following skills and attributes:

• Swim England Senior Swimming Coach Certificate/ASA Level 3 Award (We would consider applicants who hold a Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate/ASA Level 2 Award, and have a minimum of 3 years coaching experience, and are willing to work towards the Swim England Senior Swimming Coach Certificate.)
• Strong leadership qualities
• Enthusiastic and positive mindset
• Able to work lead and motivate a team
• Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills
• A high level of technical knowledge and understanding of Aquatics GB’s Long Term Athlete Development Programme (LTAD).
• Enthusiasm, inspiration and demonstrable innovation through coaching practice
• A self-starter capable of creating new ideas and implementing them.
• Committed to equality and diversity.
• Able to attend championships at County, Regional and National levels and British galas
• Very good communication skills
• A good listener
• Ability to gauge and understand different athlete needs
• A strong and direct approach coupled with empathetic coaching style
• Willing to bring new and exciting coaching initiatives
• A passion for the sport and to see athletes develop and thrive
• A willingness to dedicate their time, energy and focus into all our athletes to encourageand assist them to strive to achieve their full potential
