Job summary

Luso Court Care Centre, part of Willinbrook Healthcare and Care Concern Group, is recruiting a Head Chef for its Clapham, London kitchen. Lead the kitchen team, plan menus and ensure meals meet residents’ dietary needs in a safe, hygienic environment.

You will supervise staff, manage rotas and stock, and deliver high-quality dining experiences that support comfort and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent culinary qualification.
• Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Experience leading/supervising a kitchen team.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to plan nutritious menus and manage kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and oversee meal preparation for residents.
• Plan balanced menus that meet dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage rotas, stock, deliveries and storage.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and presentation standards.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance.
