Luso Court Care Centre, part of Willinbrook Healthcare and Care Concern Group, is recruiting a Head Chef for its Clapham, London kitchen. Lead the kitchen team, plan menus and ensure meals meet residents’ dietary needs in a safe, hygienic environment.
You will supervise staff, manage rotas and stock, and deliver high-quality dining experiences that support comfort and dignity for residents.
Luso Court Care Centre is a newly commissioned specialist care home in Clapham, London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 80 en suite bedrooms across two floors and provides complex nursing care, specialist dementia care and residential mental health support within a safe and clinically led environment.
As Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen team and oversee the preparation of high quality, nutritious meals that support the health and wellbeing of residents living with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions.
Working closely with the Home Manager and Group Executive Chef, you will plan balanced menus, manage food preparation and ensure meals meet residents’ dietary requirements and preferences. Your leadership will ensure the kitchen runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation.
You will supervise and support the kitchen team, organise staff rotas and oversee stock management, deliveries and food storage. You will also maintain accurate records, monitor kitchen equipment and ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
As part of a newly commissioned specialist service, you will play an important role in establishing kitchen routines and delivering a dining experience that promotes comfort, dignity and enjoyment for residents.
