Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a Head Chef for a premium British restaurant in London. You will lead a busy kitchen team, drive quality, and help develop menus focused on British produce and small plates.

The role demands strong leadership in a high-volume setting within a growing group. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality-led environments, comprehensive knowledge of SOPs, and the ability to manage ordering, stock, GP, labour, and wastage.

Qualifications

• Proven Head Chef in premium, quality-led restaurant.
• Experience in high-volume services.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of SOPs and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a kitchen team of 12-15 chefs.
• Drive consistency, food quality, and service standards.
• Manage ordering, stock control, food safety, and compliance.
• Coach, train, and develop young chefs.
• Knowledge of stems and SOPs; work with Head of Food on delivery.
• Contribute to menu development and operational delivery.
