Portland Nurseries is seeking a dedicated Head Chef / Nursery Cook to lead our kitchen and provide nutritious meals for young children aged 0–5. You will contribute to health, development and enjoyment of food in a safe environment.

You will plan menus, manage allergies, and ensure compliance with NHS/EYFS nutrition guidelines while supervising kitchen staff and collaborating with nursery teams.

Formación

• Experience planning nutritious meals for early years settings.
• Strong knowledge of NHS/EYFS nutrition guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals and snacks for 0–5 years.
• Create seasonal menus respecting dietary requirements and allergies.
• Manage food purchasing, stock and kitchen budget.
