Job summary

The Cinnamon Care Collection is seeking an experienced Head Chef for Emerson Park, a premium care village in Hextable. The role oversees a full kitchen team to deliver high-end meals, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and diet-specific menus to meet residents' needs.

Salary is up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits. The position is full-time and on-site, with responsibilities including supplier management, cost control, hygiene, and health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising a kitchen team and delivering high-quality catering services.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and food hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full kitchen operation, including a second chef and kitchen assistants.
• Monitor suppliers and costs; keep GM informed of pricing and performance.
• Maintain hygiene standards and safe working practices in line with regulations.
• Support the General Manager in resolving catering-related complaints and participate in events.
