Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing a kitchen team.
• Strong menu planning and recipe development skills.
• Good knowledge of food costing, stock control and kitchen profitability.
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP, allergens and food safety.
• A positive, hands-on leadership style.
• Ability to maintain standards during busy services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire the kitchen team.
• Create seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Maintain high standards of food and presentation.
• Manage food costs, stock control, wastage and profitability.
• Recruit, train and develop kitchen staff.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
• Introduce new dishes and continually improve the food offering.
• Work closely with senior culinary and operational leaders.
