Job summary

BM Caterers is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a contract catering team and deliver seasonal, nutritious menus. You will recruit, mentor and develop your own kitchen team while working 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, five days a week, across multiple sites.

The role focuses on maintaining high standards, driving innovation, and achieving excellent GP. You’ll work with General Managers to align objectives, foster strong communication, and engage customers to inspire new ideas and maximise sales

Qualifications

• You have proven kitchen management experience and strong leadership to recruit, lead and develop your team.
• You create seasonal, balanced and nutritious menus inspired by ingredients.
• You communicate effectively to ensure standards are met and improve GP performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your own kitchen team and liaise with General Managers.
• Drive food innovation while maintaining high standards across sites.
• Monitor GP, cost controls and quality to maximise profitability.
• Engage with customers to gain inspiration for menu development and sales growth.
