Ad Warrior Ltd in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a busy hotel kitchen across dining, weddings and events. You will work closely with the Executive Head Chef to drive food quality, service standards and profitability in a fast-paced venue.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on kitchen management, and the ability to plan rosters, control costs and maintain excellent hygiene standards. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and busy event periods is essential.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to progress.
• Experience within a busy hotel, wedding venue or high-volume banqueting operation is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a kitchen team.
• Confident managing multiple food operations, including restaurant service and large functions.
• Good commercial awareness, including food costs, GP margins, stock management and labour control.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, allergens and kitchen compliance.
• Organised, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure.
• A hands-on approach with a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy event periods.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the day-to-day operation of a busy hotel kitchen, working alongside the Executive Head Chef.
• Lead, motivate, train and develop the kitchen team, maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism.
• Oversee food preparation and service for restaurant dining, weddings, conferences, private functions and large-scale banqueting.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control across all services.
• Plan and manage kitchen rotas, staffing levels and labour costs in line with business demands.
• Take responsibility for stock control, ordering, stock rotation and minimising food waste.
• Work closely with the Executive Head Chef to manage food costs, gross profit margins and overall kitchen profitability.
• Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, HACCP, allergen management and health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage and Events teams to ensure weddings and functions are delivered smoothly and to a high standard.
• Support menu development, seasonal promotions and improvements to the overall food offering.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
