Job summary

Knekt Hub Ltd seeks a capable Head Chef to lead a busy, multi-operation kitchen in a countryside hotel near Bracknell. The role combines restaurant, weddings and private dining with seasonal outdoor dining, demanding strong leadership and hands-on cooking.

You will develop menus, manage a seven-strong brigade, and work closely with owners to elevate the hotel's food offering while maintaining cost control and consistent high standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Head Chef experience or strong Senior Sous Chef background.
• Hotel experience, including weddings and banqueting.
• Strong menu-development skills and an understanding of fresh-food cooking.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the hotel's kitchen.
• Lead and develop a brigade of seven.
• Oversee restaurant, wedding, banqueting and private dining services.
• Develop seasonal menus for different dining operations.
• Plan for simultaneous restaurant and event service preparation.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Manage stock control, purchasing and food costs.
