Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join a prestigious private estate in West Sussex, leading the culinary offering for a new restaurant. You will oversee a high-quality small-plates menu, work with organic estate produce, and guide an ambitious kitchen team.

The role focuses on daytime hours, a chance to shape a new dining concept, and participation in a company bonus scheme. Excellent leadership and menu development skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team to deliver high-quality small-plates concepts.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver innovative menus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a high-quality small-plates menu
• Work closely with the Estate Executive Chef and management team
• Use organic produce from the estate and trusted artisan suppliers
• Lead, support and develop the kitchen team
• Maintain consistently high standards across food quality and presentation
• Help deliver dining experiences for special events when required
• Manage kitchen operations in line with food safety and quality standards
