Elle R Leisure is seeking a Head Chef for Longridge House, a premier venue with 21 bedrooms, two cottages, event spaces, two bars and a restaurant in the Preston area. You will lead the kitchen across restaurant, weddings and private events, ensuring exceptional food quality and high standards.

The role demands strong leadership, hands‑on management, and robust budgeting and supplier negotiation experience to deliver a premium dining and hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Proven Head Chef experience in a high‑quality restaurant, hotel, or events venue.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Hands‑on approach with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
• Experience managing kitchen budgets, stock control, and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Opening: Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled kitchen team.
• Establish kitchen procedures, food safety standards, and supplier relationships.
• Work alongside senior leadership to position Longridge House as a standout culinary destination.
• Post-Opening: Lead the kitchen team in delivering outstanding food across restaurant, weddings, and private events.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail in all dishes.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost efficiency.
