Greene King, renowned pub group, is seeking a Head Chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during busy services and to extract the best from the team. You will lead, train and motivate staff to deliver high-quality dishes while maintaining exceptional standards.

The role requires strong leadership, calm under pressure, and excellent English communication to maintain allergen controls and safety across a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a busy kitchen, training and developing a high performing team.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and bring out the best in your team.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Take the reins in the kitchen, making decisions or proposing ways to help the team run better.
• Communicate clearly with your team to deliver high-quality meals on time.
• Lead and recognise the team, maximising their potential.
