Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is seeking a Head Chef to lead a high-volume kitchen across our UK parks. You will manage a busy team, control stock and budgets, and uphold top food safety standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will design menus, optimise portion control and profitability, recruit and develop staff, and drive overall kitchen performance in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a kitchen team in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with budgets, KPIs and financial targets.
• Ability to train, inspire and develop a team across shifts.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens.
• Passion for high-quality, innovative food and guest satisfaction.
• Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve high standards and performance.
• Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation and service at all times.
• Oversee stock control, food diaries, health & safety documentation and training.
• Plan, design and deliver menus that balance portions and profitability.
• Monitor KPIs, waste, efficiency and food costs.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety and regulatory standards.
• Support recruitment and ongoing development of the team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment.
