HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Head Chef for its Westwood Lodge care home in Wigan to lead the kitchen team and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to residents' health and dietary needs. You will drive hygiene, safety, and a coordinated service that supports wellbeing and quality of life.

You will manage stock, budgets and orders while collaborating with central teams to maintain nutritional excellence in a welcoming dining environment for residents.

Qualifications

• S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Good understanding of HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals.
• Manage stock, budgets and supplier orders efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP.
