Head Chef | Country Pub

We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef to take the lead at a beautiful, food-led country pub in the Northamptonshire countryside.

This is a large, busy operation with a strong reputation for food, extensive outdoor space and a packed calendar of events. The venue offers a mix of classic British pub dishes, seasonal food, Sunday roasts, BBQs and private events.

The Role

• Lead and develop a busy kitchen team
• Take ownership of food quality, consistency and standards
• Oversee high-volume service across the pub and outdoor operation
• Develop seasonal menus using quality ingredients
• Lead the kitchen through weddings, parties and large events
• Manage GP, stock, ordering and kitchen costs
• Build a positive and well-organised kitchen culture

The Venue

Set in the Northamptonshire countryside, this is a genuine destination country pub with a large indoor and outdoor operation.

The venue has a heated events marquee which hosts weddings, private parties, business events and celebrations throughout the year. It also runs a major outdoor BBQ operation during the summer months.

You’ll suit this role if you enjoy busy service, leading from the front and cooking proper pub food at volume.
