Job summary

EQ Care is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead the catering services across the Home. You will ensure every meal meets nutritional needs and service standards while maintaining a compliant and safe kitchen environment.

You will train and supervise the catering team, manage rotas and staffing levels, and work with the leadership team to uphold care standards and regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering management within a care setting or similar environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee catering services within the Home and ensure high-quality meals.
• Train, supervise, appraise and manage performance of the catering team.
• Manage rotas to ensure adequate staffing for shifts at all times.
