Head Chef – Fantastic Golf Venue, Surrey

I am recruiting for a Head Chef for a wonderful golf venue in the Woking, Surrey area.

This is a great opportunity for a Head Chef to lead, develop, and grow an already busy food operation within a fantastic golf venue known for hosting events in the local area. The venue offers casual golf, weddings, events, a busy clubhouse, and passing trade, making each day dynamic and fast-paced.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a fast-paced environment, set and maintain high standards, and demonstrate strong leadership qualities. There is also the opportunity to develop your own approach to functions and events menus with your team.

The successful chef will possess excellent interpersonal skills, engage effectively with both team members and guests, and maintain good communication across departments. Management experience in a high-volume, fresh food environment delivering high service levels is essential.

About you:
  • You will already have Chef management experience within pubs, hotels, or restaurants.
  • You will have excellent training and communication skills.
  • You will have experience leading a team and enjoy developing and motivating team members.
  • You will be motivated by delivering outstanding service and building rapport with guests and colleagues.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Organising the rota system effectively and to deadlines while maintaining budget.
  • Managing stock rotation and controlling wastage.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety legislation, e.g., COSHH and HACCP.
  • Ensuring successful passing of all checks and audits.
  • Generating new ideas and initiatives to drive sales.
  • Playing and practice privileges.
  • Working in a beautiful setting with an established team.
  • Providing free parking.
  • Enjoying a fun and rewarding work environment where your contributions are valued.
  • Opportunities for progression within the group.
  • 40 hours a week with a variety of shifts and minimal late evenings.
