Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and set the standards across the pub. This role offers a permanent salaried contract, ensuring a reliable monthly salary and genuine career development opportunities within our growing pub portfolio.

You will manage a motivated kitchen team, drive food quality and hygiene standards, and work as part of the pub management team to deliver memorable guest experiences. A pro-active leader with a passion for great food is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Kitchen Manager/Head Chef role or willingness to step up from Sous/Second Chef.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a kitchen team.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to maintain high food quality and fast service.

• Ensure all food and hygiene standards are consistently met
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to create a buzz in your kitchen
• Achieve the highest standards, ensuring the business is safe and that food quality and speed of service targets are met
• Maintain clear communication with your kitchen and wider pub team

As a Head Chef:
