Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a well-established destination village pub in Stevenage to recruit a hands-on Head Chef who will take full ownership of the kitchen and lead the team.

You’ll drive menu development around quality pub classics, manage GP and stock, mentor chefs and deliver high standards across every service, while enjoying creative input and a supportive countryside setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen in a pub or restaurant.
• Proven ability to develop menus and seasonal specials.
• Strong leadership and communication with kitchen staff.
• Focus on quality sourcing and GP management.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you'll take full ownership of the kitchen, leading the team and ensuring consistently high standards across every service.

You'll have the opportunity to develop the food offering, introduce seasonal specials and put your own stamp on a menu centred around great-quality pub classics.
