Job summary

Ember Inns in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Head Chef to lead a kitchen delivering high‑quality pub grub and inspiring a skilled team. You will manage all kitchen areas, drive standards and ensure guests return for more.

You’ll be responsible for training, developing menus, maintaining health and hygiene compliance, and delivering a great guest experience within a local community setting.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to consistently deliver high‑quality food to be proud of.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction by meeting targets with your team.
• Kitchen management: food ordering, prep and stock control.

Job description

As Head Chef at the Denton you'll lead the way in creating a kitchen to be proud of. You’ll be inspiring your team, instilling the passion that ensures all the food that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standard. Managing all areas of the kitchen, you’ll keep our guests coming back for more
