Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a Head Chef at Rodley House to create nutritious, comforting meals tailored to residents’ needs. You will lead in a caring kitchen, meeting dietary requirements and delivering themed food days with pride.

The role is 24 hours per week, with alternating weekends and a 9am to 3pm pattern. Applicants should have UK right to work and experience in a professional kitchen; care home experience is preferred and IDDSI knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a professional kitchen; care home setting preferred.
• Head chef experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of IDDSI or complex dietary needs desirable.
• Role is 24 hours per week with alternate weekends.
• Shift is 9am–3pm; some flexibility may be required.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK
• Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a care home setting
• Experience as a head chef is desirable
• Knowledge of IDDSI or complex dietary needs (desirable)
• This position is working 24 hours per week, to include alternate weekends
• The main shift pattern will be 9am to 3pm, however flexibility is desirable for this role
