Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a Head Chef for a George pub, leading the kitchen to deliver food of the highest standard. You will inspire your team, manage all kitchen operations and ensure guest satisfaction from breakfast to evening service.

You will be responsible for training, stock control, health and hygiene compliance, and working with branded menus to maintain consistency across the brand.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or senior sous in pub/hospitality settings.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality food to brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to deliver consistently high-quality food.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction through excellent kitchen performance.
• Oversee kitchen management: ordering, food prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations and brand standards.
