Head Chef – Exciting Opportunity in a Thriving Family Business

Are you a passionate and experienced Head Chef looking for the next step in your career? Would you thrive in a smaller, independent business where your voice is valued and your ideas are heard? Do you have a strong background in high-volume, food-led traditional inns and the leadership skills to manage and develop a large kitchen team?

Salary £42,000, plus performance bonus of 2.4K per annum, plus Tronc of £1. Hours capped at 48.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you’ll work closely with the General Manager, playing a key role in recruiting, training, and mentoring your kitchen team to help them reach their full potential.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering exceptional food quality, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
• Managing all aspects of kitchen profitability, including ordering, stock control, and waste management.
• Ensuring impeccable hygiene and safety standards, in full compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
• Leading by example, fostering a positive and high-performing kitchen environment.
