Job summary

Greene King’s Chef & Brewer pubs are seeking a Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen and deliver consistently high standards across service, menus and seasons. You’ll set the tone, motivate your team and ensure every dish meets our exacting quality.

Strong leadership, a calm under pressure, and a flair for seasoning and presentation will help you thrive in a busy, guest‑focused pub kitchen. You’ll champion hygiene, allergies controls and staff development in every shift.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen and developing a high-performing team.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen and bring out the best in the team.
• Strong eye for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers.
• Willingness to take on and adapt to challenges in a busy kitchen.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities
