Job summary

Six by Nico Cardiff is seeking an enthusiastic Head Bartender to join our vibrant, high-end front-of-house team. You will lead the bar, train staff, and deliver a superb drinks service while maintaining product knowledge and stock management.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years' bartending experience, a passion for cocktails, and the ability to motivate others in a busy environment. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' previous bartending experience.
• Cocktail making experience.
• Enthusiasm for all things bartending.
• Confidence in a busy, high-end environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain skills and product knowledge.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Serve drinks and food at the bar per service standards.
• Order, receive, store and stock beverage items.
• Manage invoices, pricing and data entry for stock.

Six by Nico is a vibrant and unique restaurant group focusing around a themed six course tasting menu, currently thriving throughout the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for an enthusiasticHead Bartenderto join the team at Six by Nico.

The role

Our front of house team plays a fundamental role in delivering a professional and informative service in a fun and exciting atmosphere; we are looking for someone who is confident and bursting with personality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining skills and product knowledge,
• Supporting, training and acting as a role model to new members of the team
• Service of all drink and food orders in the public bars according to the Cycle of Service standards and timings
• Ordering, receiving, storing, controlling and counting of all Beverage stocks for Bar and Restaurant.
• Administration of all stocks including, invoice collation, price checking and data entry of stock.
• Work closely with management team to ensure quality customer service and supervise a team with diverse talents and responsibilities
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Ordering & stock management
• Passion for cocktails and developing drink offerings
• Strong decision-making capabilities

• Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
• Key holder responsibilities.
• Available to work evenings and weekends

Preferred Requirements

• At least 1-2 years previous experience in Bartending
• Cocktail Making Experience

Salaries will be paid at an hourly rate inclusive of service charge.
