Nammos London is seeking a motivated Head Bartender to lead a high-performing bar team in a luxury hospitality environment. You will oversee cocktail, wine and beverage service, while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar for each shift with stocked products, garnishes and equipment.
• Collaborate with Bar Manager to develop cocktails, seasonal menus and pairings.
• Engage with guests, upsell premium products and accommodate special requests.
• Monitor stock usage, assist with inventory and ordering processes.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, company policies and health & safety regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the preparation and service of all cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
• Supervise and train bartenders and bar backs, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to recipes and presentation.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the bar at all times.
• Set up the bar for each shift, ensuring all products, garnishes, glassware, and equipment are stocked and ready.
• Collaborate with the Bar Manager to develop new cocktails, seasonal menus, and beverage pairings.
• Engage with guests at the bar, offering recommendations, upselling premium products, and accommodating special requests.
• Monitor stock usage, assist with inventory management, and support ordering processes.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, wastage, and inventory as required.
• Perform all reasonable tasks designated by the Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or management team.

SKILLS, AND EXPERTISE:

• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Excellent mixology and beverage preparation skills
• Strong leadership and team development abilities
• High attention to detail in drink preparation, presentation, and cleanliness
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-end environment
• Professional appearance and demeanour, reflecting the standards of a luxury lifestyle brand
• Ability to upsell and maximize beverage sales
• Reliable timekeeping and strong teamwork

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

• Previous experience as a senior bartender or head bartender in a luxury restaurant, hotel, or high-end bar
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Immaculate personal presentation
• Strong knowledge of beverage service and mixology
• Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Reliable timekeeping and punctuality

Desirable:

• Formal bartending or mixology certification
• Experience with Mediterranean or Japanese beverage programs
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to bar operations
• Familiarity with bar inventory software or digital ordering systems
• Multilingual skills
• Experience organizing bar events or tastings.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
