Job summary

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is seeking an experienced Head Barista to lead the team and ensure that coffee excellence is delivered consistently. You will engage with guests, maintain top-tier coffee quality, and promote a prompt speed of service.

Leading from the front, you will recruit and develop a team, manage stock, and exemplify hospitality. You will work with high-end equipment and advise customers on home brewing methods.

Qualifications

• Has experience as a head barista or team leader.
• Excellent latte art and coffee knowledge.
• Able to work well under pressure and manage a busy shift.

Responsibilities

• Dial in grinders and maintain brand-standard coffee quality.
• Open and close the coffee section independently.
• Train and develop team members and encourage ongoing development.
• Maintain standard speed of service and overall consistency in a fast-paced environment.
• Pour advanced latte art and understand alternative milks.
• Maintain cleanliness standards at all times.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Trading Post blends and single origins including tasting notes.

We are looking for an experienced HeadBarista to lead the team to ensure that coffee at Trading Post Coffee Roastersis always delivered to the very best standard. This means ensuring that theteam are always engaging with guests, that the quality of the coffee served toour guests is always consistent, and that a prompt speed of service is alwaysprovided. You’ll have top attention to detail, along with a genuine passionforall things coffee. You will be comfortable working with our top-of-the-range machinesand grinders and have a strong understanding of at-home brewing methods to beable to advise your customers.

You’ll be confident in a customer-focused environment andknow what it takes to always deliver top-quality coffee and great hospitality.
