Job summary

joon cafe | Brunch & Specialty Coffee, a busy independent café in the UK, is seeking an experienced specialty barista. You will produce consistently excellent coffee in a fast-paced environment, with staff meals and drinks and opportunities for development within the business.

The role is full-time, with immediate start available. You should have specialty coffee experience, strong espresso knowledge, latte art skills, and the ability to work quickly without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Specialty coffee experience required.
• Strong espresso extraction and grinder adjustment knowledge.
• Confident milk steaming and latte art skills.
• Able to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Reliable, punctual and able to take responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Dial in the grinder and maintain espresso quality throughout the day.
• Prepare espresso-based drinks quickly and consistently.
• Produce properly textured milk and high-quality latte art.
• Keep the coffee station clean, organised and fully stocked.
• Complete opening, closing and daily equipment-cleaning procedures.
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service.
• Help the wider front-of-house team when required.
• Maintain speed, accuracy and presentation during busy periods.

joon is a busy independent café serving specialty coffee, brunch and weekday lunches. We are looking for an experienced specialty barista who can produce consistently excellent coffee while working confidently in a fast-paced environment.. We offer a stable full-time position, staff meals and drinks, and opportunities to develop within the business. This is a hands-on position in a genuinely busy café, so it would suit someone who enjoys a high-energy environment and takes pride in both quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Dial in the grinder and maintain espresso quality throughout the day.
• Prepare espresso-based drinks quickly and consistently.

Salary: £14.2 – £15 hourly
