Job Title: HE Lecturer - Computer Science and Cyber Security

Salary: Starting at £30,527 with progression to £34,349 per annum + Market Supplement

About the Role

1. Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, and assessment plans.
2. Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
3. Maintain and update knowledge of the subject and/or vocational area.
4. Adapt curriculum delivery methods to maximize effectiveness, including through the use of technology.
5. Apply theoretical understanding of effective teaching, learning, and assessment practices, drawing on research and evidence.

About You

• Holds a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE).
• Relevant highest-level vocational qualification or degree in the teaching subject.
• Recent teaching delivery experience in relevant subject areas, demonstrating active learning and differentiated teaching styles.
• Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience utilizing a range of practices to enhance learner progression.
• Knowledge of Privilege Escalation and/or Kill-Chain Cyber Attack frameworks.
• Experience with tools, methods, and techniques used in cyber investigation processes.
