About The Role

The role of HE Lecturer in Computer Science and Cyber Security at University Centre (UC) Leeds involves planning, delivering, and assessing curriculum content for students. Potentially, a market supplement of up to £3000 per annum may be available for candidates demonstrating substantial experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop schemes of work, session plans, and assessment strategies.
  • Deliver and evaluate essential knowledge and skills to students.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the subject area.

Candidate Requirements
  • Level 5 Teaching Qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE).
  • Relevant vocational qualification or degree in the subject area.
  • Recent teaching experience in relevant subjects, including placements or active learning styles.
  • Knowledge of current teaching practices and diverse teaching methods.
  • Knowledge of Privilege Escalation and Kill-Chain Cyber Attack frameworks.
  • Experience with tools and techniques used in Cyber investigation processes.
