Job summary

SkyCare is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our warm, homely care team. You will provide compassionate care to residents, support in daily activities, and contribute to care plans under supervision.

We offer full training, a permanent contract, and benefits including 28 days of annual leave, free uniforms, and a company pension. DBS checks are supported, and driving to activities may be required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care is desirable
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience/Qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines is a plus
• Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User group

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and supervise quality care in conjunction with Service Users.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with healthcare professionals.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home.
• Utilize IT systems for record-keeping and reporting to enhance care delivery.
• Drive to various locations as required for resident activities or appointments.

HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Hourly rate of £12.81

Join our warm homely care team - providing compassionate care to our residents. You will be given support in your role and will be able to contribute in your own way.

To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care, in conjunction with Service Users. To ensure Service Users retain their dignity and individuality. To be involved in the general activities of the Care Home. To maintain a safe and secure environment for Service Users, staff members and visitors.

Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User group

NVQ Level 2 in Care is desirable
