Job summary

Safetykleen is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant in the UK to manage inbound enquiries through to close, providing expert advice and accurate quotations for hazardous waste services. You will work with Technical Services, Regional Waste Consultants and operations to develop solutions and maximise conversions while identifying cross-sell opportunities across the Safetykleen portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in waste services or a related field.
• Ability to translate customer needs into effective waste solutions.
• Knowledge of waste management practices and regulations.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation and pipeline management skills.
• Comfort using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Proactive, target-driven and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound sales enquiries from initial contact through quotation, negotiation and close.
• Produce accurate quotations for hazardous waste collections.
• Provide expert technical advice and develop customer solutions.
• Collaborate with Technical Services, Regional Waste Consultants and operations.
• Follow up quotations, address objections and maximise conversion.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Safetykleen portfolio.
• Manage sales pipeline to hit revenue, margin and conversion targets.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional experience.
• Use CRM and sales data to monitor performance and support forecasting.
• Contribute to sales training and process improvements.
